All the Way to Death

“Americans no longer talk to each other, they entertain each other. They do not exchange ideas; they exchange images. They do not argue with propositions; they argue with good looks, celebrities and commercials.”

When I read this the first time, I was in my twenties. When I read it again, I was in my thirties. When I read it again, another decade had come and gone.

Now I am reading it again. Reading, yes. Reading.
