MIND & MATTERS 
my husband is a veteran and it hurts our hearts to see the careless disregard Congress has for our military. It’s apparent not only through their action during this shut down but also on going in their lack of concern for disabled veterans. Of all groups that should be supported with every available assistance, disabled veterans should be top priority. Our government has failed miserably and it’s a national disgrace

Everyone needs a Barnabas from time to time. And we are all called to be Barnabas from time to time. That is the blessing of doing the Christian life joined with other believers. When we try to walk alone, we have no Barnabas and we stumble and fall with no one to help us get back up. There’s safety in numbers, brother. As part of the body, we never have to walk alone!
