I was on the back porch looking down the hill. I saw movement. First the does. Then the buck, head down, nosing the air.
He was not that big. Nonetheless he captivated me.
The females skittered. The dry leaves crackled under their scampering.
I watched. Studied the creatures.
Grateful just to behold.

Thank you Jon. Your deer video is iindeed riveting. I think does and bucks are some of GOD’s grandest creatures. They are right up there with my love for birds.
We saw a big ole Barn Owl Again today. It is such a treat to have an owl family with in striking distance of our house. ….such a spectacle when they take fligh, with their impressive wing span!
No accidents here….just The Master’s touch!
