Soul Food (21 July 2026)

We ate, chatted about the day she had and I had had, watched a program we both enjoy, and then I said, “I’m going to go hike a bit.”

I laced up my hiking boots and struck out for the hills. They did not disappoint. I walked the ridges and then made my way down to a creek, and then back up the hills to our home.
